CrowdStrike Falcon Sensor

Point Grey Campus with Endpoints concept

CrowdStrike Falcon Sensor is a Next-Generation Antivirus (NGAV) product that protects computers from malicious activity by analyzing what the computer is doing and comparing it against known malicious behaviour patterns and systems. It offers additional benefits over traditional antivirus, including:

  • Machine learning and artificial intelligence to detect known and unknown malware and ransomware;
  • Behaviour-based indicators of attack (IoAs) to prevent sophisticated, non- traditional modern attacks;
  • Exploit blocking to stop the execution and spread of threats through unpatched vulnerabilities; and
  • Threat intelligence prevention to block activities known to be malicious.
